Navy charity art auction save the date

A polished, purposeful save the date

An online save the date is a short web page that tells guests when and where an event takes place, before the full invitation is sent. For a fundraiser, it also signals that the evening matters. This design shows a framed abstract painting in orange, rust, cream and blue on the left, and a white card on the right with “Mark your calendar” in capitals, the event name in a high-contrast serif and all text in deep navy.

It suits nonprofits, museums, schools and foundations that host an art auction, a benefit sale of donated works or a gala with live and silent bidding. Sending a save the date early helps donors, collectors and volunteers keep the evening free. They open the link on their phone, add the date to their calendar and can reply early, which gives you a first idea of attendance. Later you can send a full business invitation online with the program, the lots and practical details.

Frequently asked questions

How quickly can I send this save the date?

In a few minutes. Fill in the event name, the date and the city, preview the card and share the link. The auction catalog can wait until the invitation.

What can guests do with it?

They can save the evening in their calendar with one tap and answer early through RSVP. You find all responses in your dashboard. Read more about online RSVP.

Can I show one of the artworks being auctioned?

Yes. The abstract painting is a sample image and can be replaced with a photo of a highlight lot, a work by a featured artist or your venue. Upright images fit the left side best.

Can I change the text and colors?

Yes. Heading, closing line, colors and image can all be edited. Date and place come from your details automatically, and you can still change the card after sending.

Is this save the date free?

Yes, creating and sharing it is free. A full invitation with more options can be made later on Eventinfo.pro.
