Rust red jazz night save the date

A smoky, moody save the date

A save the date for a gala is an early notice, sent by link, that gives guests the date and city of a formal evening before the invitation is ready. This one sets the mood of a jazz night. A wide illustration opens the page: a saxophonist in a dark suit and sunglasses, playing against a rust red sky with a pale moon and a city skyline. Below it, ’SAVE THE DATE’ and the name of the evening appear in black on a white card, the name in an elegant high-contrast serif, followed by the date and place in a clean sans-serif font.

It suits a benefit evening, a club anniversary or a dinner with live music where guests need to keep a Saturday free. The closing line, ’Live band, dinner and dancing. Invitation to follow.’, tells them what kind of night to expect. You send one link by email or text. Guests open it on their phone, add the date to their calendar and reply early. When the program is set, you can follow up with a full online event invitation in the same style.
